Product Manager at ModeSens

Jia Tang has over five years of work experience in the fields of product management, marketing, and general management. In 2021, they began working as a Product Manager at ModeSens. In this role, they are responsible for creating product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and leading execution. Prior to this, they were an Assistant Product Manager at ModeSens, where they developed a deep understanding of the customer and a passion for solving real-world problems. Jia was also a Marketing Project Manager at S & C International., Inc. from 2019-2021, where they analyzed customer behavior and seasonal trends to provide design solutions, controlled cost, and communicated with clients. From 2018-2019, Jia was an eCommerce Marketing Coordinator at Olivia Miller, Inc., where they managed the email calendar, set up automation, and designed email templates. From 2016-2018, they were a General Marketing Assistant at COMSOL, Inc., where they promoted the 2016 Shanghai Users’ Conference, integrated client information, and arranged brand courses. Finally, from 2015-2016, they were an Assistant to General Manager Internship at China Universal Asset Management, where they inputted customer details and transactions into the system, created deal sheets and monthly reports, and maintained a close relationship with VIP customers.

Jia Tang completed a Master's degree in Marketing from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Nanjing University of Science and Technology in 2016, and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the same university in 2016. Jia also attended National Dong Hwa University as an exchange student in 2014-2015, studying Sociology and Management, and attended the University of Dayton's Summer Program in 2014, studying Business/Managerial Economics. Additionally, Jia Tang has obtained a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance in December 2022, a Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design certification from Coursera in March 2022, and a Google Analytics Certification from Google in November 2022.
