Marie Helene Kvello-Aune has been in the ICT industry since 2004. Marie Helene started out as an ICT Operator (Trainee) at Sør-Trøndelag fylkeskommune in 2004. In 2007, they moved to Dia-Team AS as an ICT Administrator. Her responsibilities included designing, implementing and maintaining network infrastructure, including Netgear and Ubiquity gear, PFSense, site-to-site VPN and remote user VPN, as well as planning, implementing and maintaining server infrastructure (hardware and software). In 2018, they joined Modirum as Vice Head Of Operations and Senior Sysadmin. As Vice Head Of Operations, they were second in command of the Hosting team, which is located in three countries. As Senior Sysadmin, they were primarily running/maintaining online payment (3DS) infrastructure including the private cloud it runs on. Marie Helene was also responsible for implementation of several large customers, and found and reduced major pain points, including streamlining deployment of new host servers by creating a image-based deployment & upgrade solution based on FreeBSD with ZFS boot environments and "poudriere image".

Marie Helene Kvello-Aune has an education history that spans from 2001 to 2018. Marie Helene began their studies at Brundalen VGS in 2001, completing a GK Elektro program in 2002. Marie Helene then attended Orkdal VGS, where they completed a VK1 IKT Driftsfag program in 2004. In 2006, they returned to Brundalen VGS to complete a General Studies Supplement program in 2007. Finally, in 2017, they attended the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) for Pre-Engineering. Additionally, they hold a Fagbrev IKT Driftsfag certification from Sør-Trøndelag Fylkeskommune.
