Aneesh Singla

Aneesh Singla, MD, MPH is an experienced medical professional with expertise in pain management. Aneesh currently serves as the Medical Director of Pain Management at Modernizing Medicine since 2016. Prior to this, they worked as an Expert Witness in Pain Management at Orion Health Consulting, LLC starting from 2009. From 2011 to 2023, they held the role of Interventional Pain Specialist at The National Spine and Pain Centers. Aneesh also has a background in academia, having worked as a Physician Faculty at Harvard Medical School from 2001 to 2019. Aneesh has also worked as a Staff Physician at the Spine and Pain Institute of New England from 2005 to 2011 and as an Anesthesiologist and Pain Specialist at Massachusetts General Hospital from 2005 to 2011. Additionally, they served as a Delegate at the Massachusetts Medical Society from 2000 to 2010 and completed a Pain Fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in 2005. Aneesh has demonstrated a commitment to professional development, attending the AMSA Political Leadership Conference in 2000.

Dr. Aneesh Singla completed a BA in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1995. Aneesh then pursued an MD/MPH degree in Medicine and Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, graduating in 2000. Following that, they completed an Anesthesiology residency program at Harvard Medical School from 2001 to 2004. Aneesh further pursued a Fellowship in Pain Management at Harvard Medical School in 2004-2005.
