Steve Friedland

Steve Friedland has a diverse work experience in software engineering management. Steve started in 2006 at IBM, where they served as a Senior Software Engineering Manager. At IBM, they managed various teams and projects, including database connectivity engineering for Watson Studio and Information Server enterprise ETL product. Steve also played a role in transitioning an on-premises ETL product to the cloud, implementing automation processes and improving client satisfaction. Steve then joined HCL Technologies as the Head of Engineering from 2017 to 2019. Currently, they are working at ModMed, where they have held different roles such as Senior Software Engineering Manager, Director of Software Engineering, and currently as the Senior Director of Software Engineering. In their role at ModMed, they oversaw a large Engineering organization, managed data conversions, and played a critical role in the development of ModMed's practice management application.

Steve Friedland holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Stanford University. Steve also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the same institution. In addition, Steve has obtained the certification of Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2022.
