Samantha Burda

Samantha Burda has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Their most recent position was as the Head of Talent Acquisition at ModSquad, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Sutherland from 2015 to 2020, holding various leadership roles including Global Director of Talent Acquisition and Sourcing, Talent Acquisition Director for North and Latin America, and Head of Sourcing for North and Latin America.

Before their time at Sutherland, Samantha held the position of District HR Manager at Sears Roebuck and Co. from 2015 to 2016, where they managed recruitment efforts for a distribution center. Prior to that, they served as the GLC Site Manager and Corporate Records Manager at GLC Business Services from 2012 to 2015, overseeing document centers and implementing records management systems.

Other notable experiences include working as a Benefits Administrator/Analyst/Claims Rep. at the Social Security Administration from 2010 to 2011, and as a Retail/Human Resources Manager at Millennium retail/internet store from 1998 to 2010. Samantha also served as an Office Manager and Human Resource Generalist at the Offices of Theodore Eckermann, DDS from 2005 to 2008, and as a Part-Time Announcer at WCMF Radio in Rochester, NY in 1999.

Samantha Burda pursued their education at SUNY Brockport from 1993 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Broadcast Journalism. Following this, they attended Medaille University from 2010 to 2012 and earned an MBA in Business, Management, Marketing, and Human Resources. Samantha also holds the certification of MBA, NYS Notary Public, obtained from New York State.
