Sawyer Bergeron

Sawyer Bergeron is a Compiler Engineer at Modular since August 2025, specializing in the MAX Graph Compiler. Prior experience includes a role as a Rust/VAX Developer at Ticketmaster from October 2023 to August 2025, where responsibilities involved modernizing "The Host" and other Core Ticketing Systems. From October 2017 to October 2023, Sawyer served as Lead Developer at the UNH InterOperability Lab, contributing to OPNFV LaaS, and previously held multiple positions at the University of New Hampshire from February 2019 to August 2023, including Lecturer and Teaching Assistant for compiler design and systems programming courses. Sawyer has a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of New Hampshire, obtained in May 2023, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same institution, completed in May 2021. Additionally, prior to entering the technology field, Sawyer worked as a Ski Instructor at Mount Sunapee Resort between November 2015 and April 2018.
