Rita A McCarthy

Rita A McCarthy has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Rita A started their career as an Engineering Designer at Mayo Lynch and Associates in 1999, where they worked until 2004. During this time, they gained experience in project design and performed field inspections.

Rita A then moved on to become a Project Engineer at the same company from 2004 to 2006. In this role, they continued to work on project design and field inspections, and also reviewed bid tabulations and made award recommendations to clients.

From 2006 to 2012, Rita served as a Project Manager at Mayo Lynch and Associates, where they managed the Annual Roadway Improvements Program and the Infrastructure Trust Fund Program for Sewer & Water Improvements. Rita A also handled project design, performed field inspections, and acted as a liaison between clients, owners, utilities, and government agencies.

In 2011, Rita briefly worked as an Electric Ireland Customer Service Advisor at Abtran before joining the University of Limerick in 2013. There, they served as a Research Fellow on the FESTA project, assisting in research analysis, report writing, and mobile application development.

In 2014, Rita joined Verify Technologies as a .Net Developer, where they were responsible for managing the Reports Portal and creating new reports using SQL server and VB.Net. Rita A worked in this role until 2017.

In 2018, Rita took on a new challenge at Accuvio Sustainability Reporting Software. Rita A initially worked as a Software Developer, running SQL queries and assisting with support and development. Rita A was later promoted to Implementation Manager/Business Analyst, where they managed client implementations and migrations onto the Accuvio software platform.

Most recently, in 2020, Rita joined Modular Automation as a Project Manager, where they continue to oversee projects and ensure customer satisfaction.

Rita A McCarthy has a diverse education history. Rita A obtained a Professional Certificate in Customer Experience (CX) from The CX Academy, with completion expected in 2022. In 2012 to 2013, they pursued a Higher Diploma in Software Development at the University of Limerick, specializing in Software Engineering. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2005, Rita earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, focusing on Civil Engineering. Rita A had also studied Civil Engineering at Villanova University from 1996 to 1999.

Rita's educational journey extends beyond traditional degrees and programs. In 2020, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance, showcasing their expertise in agile project management.
