Ellika Cachat

Ellika Cachat has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as Head of Platform at Modulize, where they lead the development of a platform for procurement of prefabricated building elements. Prior to this, they worked at SINTEF Community as the Leader of buildingSMART Norway's Research Room, focusing on digitalization and BIM in the construction industry. Ellika also worked as a Researcher at SINTEF Community.

Before joining SINTEF, Ellika worked as a PHD Candidate at NTNU, specializing in building performance simulation. Ellika also had an affiliation with Berkeley Lab during this time. Ellika gained practical experience as a Civil Engineer at both ÅF Reinertsen and REINERTSEN, where they worked on engineering projects.

Early in their career, Ellika interned as an Environmental certification for buildings coordinator and Business engineer at GSE, where they assisted with technical compliance and communication aspects. Ellika also had an internship as a Quality Control Technician at Tessile Logama, where they ensured compliance and added tags to clothing items.

Overall, Ellika's work experience spans various roles in the construction, research, and engineering fields, highlighting their expertise in digitalization, building performance, and project management.

Ellika Cachat began their education by pursuing a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Civil Engineering at INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon. Ellika completed this degree in 2014. Following that, Ellika enrolled at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2012 and completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) in bygg og miljøteknikk (Building and Environmental Technology) in 2013.

Continuing their educational journey, Ellika obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Architectural and Building Sciences/Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 2016 and 2020.

In terms of additional certifications, Ellika received an edX Verified Certificate for Data Science for Construction, Architecture, and Engineering from edX in November 2020.
