Somnath Nabajja

Somnath Nabajja has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of design, specifically in the areas of product design and user experience (UX) design.

Starting in 2011, Somnath worked as a freelancer, taking on various roles in graphic design, UX design, and UX engineering. In this capacity, they had the opportunity to explore different mediums and develop their creative skills.

In 2014, Somnath joined Customer360 as a UX designer, contributing to the development of a customer engagement software for contact centers. Somnath later took on the role of UX lead, managing the UX team and deliverables.

Somnath then moved on to Interactive Intelligence, where they worked as a senior UX designer. Here, they focused on crafting the user experience for their cloud-based customer relationship software, PureCloud.

In 2017, Somnath worked as a senior UX designer at GreyAtom, an Edutech startup offering onsite programs for emerging technologies. Somnath also had the opportunity to work on their in-house cloud-based software product.

During the same year, Somnath joined Tala, a venture-backed startup aimed at helping underserved individuals in emerging markets access credit and financial tools. As a UX designer, they collaborated with teams in Bengaluru and California to design fintech products for the Next Billion User segment in countries like India, Kenya, Philippines, and Mexico.

In 2020, Somnath joined OkCredit, a venture-backed Fintech startup focused on empowering small businesses in India. Somnath served as a senior product designer, utilizing their expertise to design fintech products for the Next Billion User segment.

Most recently, in 2022, Somnath joined MoEngage Inc. as a lead product designer, taking on a leadership role in designing products for the company.

Through their various roles, Somnath has gained experience in designing products for different industries and user segments, and has worked with renowned companies and startups.

Somnath Nabajja has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Information Technology from Education jobs, which was obtained between 2007 and 2011. Prior to that, Somnath attended St Mary's Junior College, Vashi, Navi Mumbai, where they obtained their HSC degree in Commerce from 2005 to 2007. Their high school education took place at St Augustine's High School, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, from 1993 to 2005. They also pursued various certifications, including a certification in Monsoon Course on Human Computer Interaction (HCI) from IDC, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 2015 and a User Experience course from The Interaction Design Foundation in 2014-2015. Additionally, they have obtained multiple certifications in various areas of UX design, such as Design Workshop Facilitation, UX Writing, UX Research, and more, from institutions like Uxcel, adplist.org, Udemy, and Interaction Design Foundation.
