Miguel Callejas

Miguel Callejas has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Miguel began their career in 2011 as a Desarrollador de Ginga ISDBT-Tb at Soltux, where they conducted content research and developed applications for Digital Television.

In 2012, Callejas worked as a Soporte Técnico Servidores de Plataforma Joomla at Spread Group, providing server deployment and configuration support, as well as programming scripting in PHP. Miguel also worked as a Researcher at the University of Delaware, focusing on information retrieval and text analysis.

From 2012 to 2013, Callejas joined Empresa Nacional de Telecomunicaciones ENTEL S.A. as a Soporte a Indicadores y Minería de Datos, where they filtered database information and conducted business intelligence analysis.

Callejas then moved on to the ITC Group as a Senior Design Engineer from 2013 to 2016. In this role, they designed networks for collaboration architectures, including IP telephony, unified messaging, collaboration environment development, and integration with software.

In 2015, Callejas worked as an Instructor Cisco at CTE Partner Cisco Learning en Bolivia, teaching Cisco courses.

From 2016 to 2017, Callejas was the IT Manager at Mojix, responsible for network management, server infrastructure maintenance, LAN/WAN/WLAN/VOIP deployment and management, and overall IT systems management. Miguel then transitioned to the role of Senior DevOps Engineer, focusing on cloud operations and architecture management using Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, and large deployments on Google, Microsoft Azure, and AWS.

Callejas's most recent position is that of Product Architect at Mojix Engineering, starting in 2021. In this role, they build and integrates information systems, assesses systems architecture and APIs, and provides supervision and guidance to development teams.

Miguel Callejas has a diverse education history. Miguel obtained a Maestría degree in Telemática y Telecomunicaciones from Universidad Católica Boliviana from 2012 to 2014. In 2013, they also completed a Diplomado in Formación Docente para la Educación Superior from the same university. Miguel also pursued a CCNA Exploration degree in Cisco Certified Network Associate from Science and Technology Center between 2009 and 2012. Furthermore, they completed a course in Information Retrieval and Data Mining at the University of Delaware in 2011-2012. Miguel also obtained a Diplomado in Televisión Digital ISDBTb from Universidad Católica Boliviana in the same timeframe. Finally, from 2009 to 2012, Miguel pursued a degree in Ingeniería de Telecomunicaciones from Universidad Católica Boliviana, specializing in System, Networking, and LAN/WAN Management/Manager.

Additionally, Miguel has received several certifications. Miguel became a GS1 Standards Professional from GS1 US in September 2022. In May 2021, they obtained the Certified Kubernetes Application Developer certification from The Linux Foundation. Miguel also holds certifications such as Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) in August 2017, Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching in March 2017, and Cisco Certified Design Associate in September 2013. Finally, they obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching certification in January 2012.
