Tim Cronin has worked in the field of engineering since 2009. In 2009, they worked as a Quality Control Laboratory Assistant at Pfizer Ireland Pharmaceuticals. In 2011, they worked as a Co-op Student at M/A-COM Technology Solutions and a Student Researcher at Tyndall National Institute. In 2012, they worked as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Stanford University. In 2013, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Rambus. From 2014 to 2019, they worked as an Analog Design Engineer at Xilinx, where they contributed designs to Xilinx's wireline transceivers implemented in FinFET processes. In 2019, they worked as an ASIC Design at Mojo Vision Inc., where they worked on a wireless receiver used in Mojo's augmented reality contact lens, implemented in bulk CMOS process. Theirnotable contributions included verifying and debugging the tapeout of a low power analog carrier recovery loop and devising and implementing an automatic calibration procedure.
Tim Cronin obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from University College Cork in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford in 2014.
