Karlyn Bornholdt

Karlyn Bornholdt has over 20 years of work experience. Karlyn started their career in 1998 as a Senior Associate at PwC. In 2001, they moved to FTI Consulting as a Senior Associate. In 2003, they joined AIG SunAmerica as an Asset Management Analyst. In 2005, they moved to KPMG LLC as a Manager. In 2008, they became the Controller at University Readers. In 2009, they started working at CPA Moms as a CPA. In 2015, they became a Financial Controller as a Consultant - Self Employed. From 2014 to 2022, they worked at Avidity Biosciences, Inc. as the Director of Accounting and Controller. Currently, they are the Director of Finance at Molecular Assemblies, Inc.

Karlyn Bornholdt obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Management Sciences and Quantitative Methods from UC San Diego in 1997. Karlyn then attended UC Santa Barbara and obtained their M.A. in Economics in 1998. In January 2005, they obtained their CPA certification from the California Board of Accountancy.
