Astrid Michlmayr

Astrid Michlmayr has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Astrid started their career with an internship at IQS Barcelona in 2014. Astrid then had a summer internship at Donau-Universität Krems in 2015, where they worked on a project related to articular chondrocytes. In 2016, they completed a master's thesis/internship at ETH, Zurich.

In 2017, they joined STRATEC Consumables GmbH as an Application Engineer and later took on the role of Life Cycle Manager/Engineer. During their time at STRATEC Consumables GmbH, they gained experience in product development and lifecycle management.

Astrid then moved to BD in 2021, where they worked as an Application Specialist. Astrid worked on developing and implementing applications for the company's products until 2022.

Currently, Astrid Michlmayr is working at Molecular Devices as an Application Scientist - 3D Biology. Their role involves using their expertise in biology and technology to develop applications and solutions in the field of 3D biology.

Throughout their career, Astrid has gained experience in various aspects of application development, project management, and research in the field of biology.

Astrid Michlmayr obtained their Reife- und Diplomprüfung degree in International Business from Handelsakademie Linz between 2007 and 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences. Following this, they attended IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences again from 2015 to 2017, obtaining a Master's degree in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology.
