Research Technician at Molecular Devices

Madeleine Miles has a diverse range of work experience in the scientific field. Madeleine started their career as a Research Scientist at the Tenovus Breast Cancer Labs, where they investigated the effects of atorvastatin on breast cancer cell viability and migration. Madeleine also gained experience in culturing and passaging breast cancer cell lines, performing assays, and conducting western blotting.

Following that role, Madeleine worked as a Facilities Operative at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. Madeleine then transitioned to PerkinElmer, Inc. as a Lab Technician, where they handled biological substances for PCR testing and practiced aseptic techniques to minimize contamination risks.

Most recently, Madeleine worked as a Research and Development Scientist at ReNeuron Group Plc, where they were involved in the culture of various cell types and demonstrated excellent practice of aseptic techniques. Madeleine also obtained a certification for viral work and cell lines.

Currently, Madeleine is working as a Research Technician at Molecular Devices.

Madeleine Miles completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2015 to 2018. Madeleine then pursued a Master of Science degree in Cancer Biology & Therapeutics at the same university from 2018 to 2019.
