Yannick Martinez

Yannick Martinez has a diverse work experience in various scientific roles. In 2008, they worked as an Assistant Research Scientist at Université de Genève, where they conducted research on cell culture, viral production, molecular biology, and bioimaging. From 2012 to 2016, at the University of Lausanne-UNIL, they worked as an Associate Researcher, focusing on planning and conducting scientific projects involving cell culture, histology, qPCR, FACS, Western Blot, and gene editing. In 2016, they joined Philip Morris International as an Associate Research Scientist, where they planned and conducted scientific projects related to toxicological assessment using organotypic cultures and presented posters at international conferences. In 2018, they took a sabbatical to volunteer in scientific communication at Visit.org, working on visual marketing and website management. In 2019, they worked as a Scientific Sales Representative at STEMCELL Technologies, specializing in cell culture products. Currently, they are an Account Manager BioResearch at Molecular Devices.
