Admasu T Mamuye

Admasu T Mamuye is an MD, MScPM with a diverse range of work experience. Admasu T currently holds the position of Sr. Medical Director at Molecular Templates since April 2023. Prior to this role, they were a Medical Director at the same company from April 2021.

Before joining Molecular Templates, Admasu worked as a Clinical Researcher at Newlands Health from 2019 to January 2021. In 2016, they held the roles of Assistant Professor at Addis Ababa University and Faculty Member at the Faculty of Capacity Development (FCD), where they were responsible for building clinical research capacity in low and middle-income countries, including recruitment, training, and mentoring.

In 2014, Admasu held the position of Head of the Clinical Epidemiology Unit at the College of Health Sciences, Addis Ababa University. From 2009 to 2015, Admasu was an Assistant Professor at AAU School of Medicine, where they provided patient care as an attending consultant physician, specializing in infectious diseases. Admasu T also taught undergraduate medical students and post-graduate Internal medicine residents.

Additionally, Admasu was a Next Generation Scientist (NGS) at Novartis in 2014, where they worked on a tuberculosis drug development project and contributed to the development of trial protocols and regulatory documents. Admasu T also gained experience in evidence review while working with the World Health Organization in 2009.

Admasu T Mamuye has a comprehensive education history in the medical field. Admasu T earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Addis Ababa University in 2005. Following that, they completed a Certificate of Specialty in Internal Medicine at the same university from 2005 to 2008. Admasu T then pursued a Certificate of Subspecialty in Infectious Diseases from 2009 to 2011 at Addis Ababa University.

Admasu continued their education and obtained a Certificate in Scientific and Grant Writing from Emory University School of Medicine in 2011. In the same year, they attended UC San Diego and completed a Certificate in Clinical Research Methodology. Admasu further expanded their knowledge by obtaining a Certificate from the University of Basel in Drug Discovery and Clinical Research in 2014.

In 2014, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Pharmaceutical Medicine at Hibernia College, which they successfully completed in 2016. During their time at Hibernia College, Admasu also obtained additional certifications in Medical Affairs, Pharmaceutical Research and Development, and Clinical Trials Management.

Throughout their education, Admasu has also acquired several additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. These include certifications in Clinical Epidemiology from McGill University in 2010, People Manager Qualification (PMQ) by SHRM in 2023, NIAID Good Clinical Practice from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) in 2020, Human Subjects Protection from CITI Program, a Division of BRANY in 2019, and ICH Good Clinical Practice E6 (R2) from The Global Health Network.
