Jensing Liu

VP Process Technologies at Molecular Templates

Jensing Liu has an extensive work experience in the biotechnology and healthcare fields. Starting in 2005, they worked as a R&D Research Scientist II at Scott & White Healthcare, where they focused on the design and development of immunotoxins, therapeutic-targeting antigens, and antibodies. They also conducted research projects related to cancer treatment. In 2008, Liu joined Texas A&M University HSC as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine. In this role, they taught graduate courses and conducted independent research, resulting in multiple publications and patent applications. Finally, in 2012, Liu joined Molecular Templates, initially as the Senior Director of Protein Engineering and later transitioning to various leadership positions including VP Protein Engineering, EVP Manufacturing, and Vice President of Manufacturing. Most recently, they served as the VP Process Technologies and VP Process Development.

Jensing Liu holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Rochester, which was completed in 1995. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Life Science from the National Tsing Hua University in 1987. Jensing also holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the National Cheng Kung University, which was completed in 1985.
