Leanne Pedi has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and research field. Leanne started their career in 2004 at OSI Pharmaceuticals Inc, where they completed a graduate internship in Biology, generating cellular assay data for lead small molecule compounds. Leanne then joined the Protein Sciences team, supporting protein production and assay development projects. In 2007, Leanne joined Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a Senior Research Associate in Structural Biology, where they worked until 2016. During their time there, they also served as a Laboratory Manager. In 2016, Leanne joined Tri-Institutional Therapeutics Discovery Institute, Inc. as a Senior Project Manager and worked until 2021. Currently, they are the Director of Research Operations at Molecular Templates. Leanne's work experience highlights their expertise in research operations, project management, and structural biology.

Leanne Pedi has an extensive education history in the field of biology and molecular biology. Leanne obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from Loyola University Maryland, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further specialization and received a Master of Science (MS) degree in Molecular Biology from New York University, completing their studies between 2003 and 2005.

In addition to their academic achievements, Leanne has also pursued professional certifications to enhance their skill set. Leanne obtained a Project Management Certificate from Cornell University in December 2019, further strengthening their knowledge in project management. Furthermore, in December 2022, they obtained the People Manager Qualification (PMQ) from SHRM, demonstrating their proficiency in managing people effectively.
