VP, Business Development - Retail Media at Moloco

Paul Childs is the Vice President of Business Development - Retail Media at Moloco. Prior to joining Moloco, Paul was the Chief Revenue Officer at SMADEX from March 2016 to February 2020. There, they developed new programmatic advertising revenue streams and positioned Smadex as one of the strongest mobile DSPs globally. Paul also contributed to growing sales revenue 3x in 2 years and managed sales, marketing and business development functions. Paul also worked with the CEO on venture capital funding and merger and acquisition.

Before SMADEX, Paul was the Chief Marketing Officer at LoopMe from June 2014 to September 2015. Paul established LoopMe as the leading global mobile video DSP and repositioned the business into the mobile video space. Paul also revamped product marketing material and proposition, created a marketing team, and produced thought leadership content pieces and press releases working with a PR agency.

Paul has also held positions as Vice President EMEA at MoPub from April 2013 to November 2013, and as Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder at Adfonic from October 2008 to December 2012. Paul started their career as Senior Director Product Management at Motricity from December 2007 to September 2008.

Paul Childs attended The London Oratory School before completing an Executive Leadership Programme in Business Administration and Management, General at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Paul then went on to study for an MBA at Imperial College London. After this, they completed a Chartered Institute of Marketing Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing at CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Finally, they gained a Master's degree in Distributed Databases and Network Connectivity at University of East London.
