Marilyn Gallo

Director, Global Hotel Sales at Molton Brown Limited

Marilyn Gallo has over 30 years of experience in the luxury fragrance and cosmetics industry. Marilyn started their career at Christian Dior in 1985, where they worked as a Director of Sales Administration and Trainer. Marilyn was promoted to Director in 1987 and held this position until 1991.

After leaving Christian Dior, Marilyn joined Sanofi Beaute as a Director of Sales Administration. Marilyn was responsible for overseeing luxury fragrance cosmetics brands, such as YSL, Oscar de la Renta, and Nina Ricci. During their time at Sanofi Beaute, they created and executed a telemarketing fragrance sales division, resulting in increased sales by $5 million. Marilyn worked at Sanofi Beaute from 1991 to 1997.

In 1997, Marilyn joined Chanel/Fragrances Exclusive as an Executive Director of Sales Administration. Marilyn managed a team of five and was responsible for budget allocation, tracking net sell-in and retail sell-through, and overseeing promotional budgets for luxury brands in domestic distribution. Marilyn remained at Chanel/Fragrances Exclusive until 2006.

From 2006 to 2008, Marilyn worked at Liz Claiborne Cosmetics as a Director of International Sales. In this role, they managed a budget of $30 million, selected and managed global fragrance distributors, and successfully launched the Juicy Couture fragrance internationally.

Following their time at Liz Claiborne Cosmetics, Marilyn joined L'Occitane en Provence in 2009 as the Director of Alternative Sales. Marilyn held this position until 2011 and was responsible for alternative sales strategies and initiatives.

In 2011, Marilyn joined Oscar de la Renta as the International Sales & Marketing Director. Marilyn worked at Oscar de la Renta until 2013, focusing on international sales and marketing efforts.

Most recently, Marilyn worked at Molton Brown as the Director of Global Hotel Sales since 2013.

Throughout their career, Marilyn has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills and a talent for managing budgets and driving sales growth in the luxury fragrance and cosmetics industry.

Marilyn Gallo attended Bishop McDonnell from 1963 to 1967, where they obtained a Regents Diploma with a focus on Business.
