Doug Stopper

Doug Stopper has extensive experience in information security, risk management, and compliance. Doug is currently serving as the Vice President of Information Security, Risk & Compliance at Community Brands since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Sr. Program Manager of Information Security & Compliance at Tampa Electric from October 2019 to October 2022. Doug also served as the Sr. Manager of IT, Network & Security Operations at Innovative Interfaces from February 2016 to October 2019. Before that, they worked as a Senior Security Consultant at JC Jones Advisory Services from August 2013 to August 2015. Doug's career started at Lockheed Martin, where they served as a Security Operations Manager from June 1998 to May 2013.

Doug Stopper holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 1995 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed an Associate's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from SUNY Broome Community College between 1992 and 1995. In 2014, Doug also obtained the ISACA CISA certification from the institution ISACA.
