Senior Director Of Human Performance at Momentous

Patrick Dixon has over 20 years of experience in the field of applied sports science and strength and conditioning. Patrick currently works as the Director of Applied Sport Science at Momentous, where they are responsible for overseeing sport science initiatives. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Applied Sports Science at Momentous and Head of Human Performance at Amp Human. In these positions, they focused on developing and implementing human performance tools to help athletes maximize performance and recovery.

Before joining Momentous, Dixon worked at Loyola Marymount University as the Assistant Athletic Director - Sports Performance. During their tenure, they were responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Sports Performance Department and implementing a comprehensive sports performance tracking system.

Dixon also has experience working as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Men's and Women's Basketball at St. John's University. In this role, they designed and implemented individualized strength and conditioning programs, instructed athletes on proper technique, and communicated with head coaches to meet training needs.

Additionally, Dixon worked as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of California, where they designed and coordinated sports performance training for various teams. Patrick also served as an Instructor at the University of Connecticut, teaching the "Fundamentals of Strength and Conditioning" course and co-authoring the textbook for the class.

Throughout their career, Dixon has demonstrated expertise in sports performance, strength and conditioning, and education, utilizing their knowledge to help athletes achieve their maximum potential.

Patrick Dixon's education history begins with their studies at the University of Connecticut from 1998 to 2002. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, with a minor in Sports Nutrition. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at the same institution, completing a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology from 2002 to 2004.

Several years later, in 2016, Patrick Dixon enrolled in Loyola Marymount University to enhance their academic qualifications. Patrick successfully completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance in 2018.
