Amy Louhela

Amy Louhela is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in various fields. Currently serving as the Coordinator of Volunteers at Moments Hospice since January 2024, Amy also operates Mourning Dove Monuments and Memorials, specializing in creating personalized tributes and memorials. As a self-employed photographer since 2009, Amy is recognized for capturing visual memories with a unique beauty. Additionally, Amy has contributed to education as an Adjunct Digital Photography Professor at the University of Northwestern - St. Paul since 2015 and previously taught at Lake Superior College. Amy’s entrepreneurial spirit was evident through the ownership of The Sweet Life Candy Shop from 2015 to 2019. Prior roles include employment counseling with the State of Minnesota and program coordination at Anoka County Corrections. Academically, Amy holds multiple degrees in Fine Arts, Community Counseling, and Psychology, showcasing a strong foundation in both creative and counseling disciplines.
