Michael Fernandez

Michael Fernandez has a diverse background in software engineering and consulting roles. Michael currently works as a Software Engineer at Momnt, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, Michael worked at SPS ARS Aerial Remote Sensing from October 2020 to the present. In this role, they served as a Full Stack Software Engineer Consultant, providing expertise to ensure best practices and migrating applications for improved scalability. Michael also led the architecture and development of the EPLASP aviation operations platform, modernizing software development methodologies.

Before joining SPS ARS, Michael worked at SparkCognition from November 2021 to January 2023 as a Software Engineer. During this time, they designed custom software solutions, improved internal tooling and products, and implemented processes for testing and CI/CD methodologies.

Michael's earlier experience includes a role as a Software Quality Assurance Tester at The University of Texas at El Paso from January 2020 to October 2020.

Michael Fernandez's education history begins in 2015 when they attended El Paso Community College. Michael pursued a degree in Computer Science and completed their Associate of Science (AS) in that field in 2019.

Following their time at community college, in 2019, Michael enrolled at The University of Texas at El Paso to further their education. Michael pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree with a major in Computer Science. Michael attended this institution until 2021, completing their degree.

Additionally, in February 2020, Michael obtained a certification in "Ethical Hacking: Website and Web Application Testing" from LinkedIn.
