Taylor S. has diverse work experience in various industries. In 2010, they worked as a Program Manager at Art, Research, and Curriculum Associates. The following year, they served as a Food and Agriculture Specialist at Level Works Ltd. (now ELEVATE) and also worked as an International Account Lead - Consultant at MCM Agriculture USA. In 2011, Taylor joined Sodexo and World Wildlife Fund as a Supply Chain Research Fellow, responsible for developing a toolkit for sustainable procurement. They also worked at PepsiCo as a Food and Beverage Graduate Consultant, conducting research and leading a corporate social responsibility project in Jakarta, Indonesia. In 2012, Taylor worked as a Graduate Instructor in the Anthropology Department at the University of Michigan and as a Program Officer for Private Sector Engagement at the World Wildlife Fund. In 2016, they worked as an Independent Consultant before joining Gilco Sports & Entertainment Marketing as a Partnership Facilitation and Design Lead, focusing on strategic partnership development and marketing programs. Finally, in 2017, Taylor became the Co-Founder of Momotaro Apotheca.

Taylor S. pursued higher education starting in 2001 at California State University, Chico, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Economics and Outdoor Education in 2006. Afterward, Taylor S. attended the University of Michigan from 2010 to 2012, earning a Master of Science degree in Natural Resources & Environment.
