Alicia James has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Alicia started their career as a Podiatrist at the Southern Health Cardinia Casey Community Health Service in 2006 and worked there until 2012. Following that, they joined Peninsula Health Service as the Head of Podiatry from 2012 to 2022. In 2013, they assumed the role of President at the Australian Podiatry Association (Victoria) for a year. Alicia also worked as the Director and Podiatrist at Kingston Foot Clinic from 2009 with no end date specified. In 2018, they became the Clinical Advisor for the State Wide Equipment Program (SWEP). Currently, Alicia holds the position of Interim Director of Clinical Operations at Monash Health starting from August 2023 and is also serving as the Head of Podiatry and Allied Health Administration since July 2022.
Alicia James completed their education with a Bachelor of Podiatry from Latrobe University in 2006. Alicia then obtained a Master of Health Sciences in Podiatry from the University of South Australia between the years 2008 and 2010. Lastly, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Allied Health at Monash University from 2012 to 2017.
