Neil Gunn has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Neil started their career as a Clinical Nurse at Vancouver Coastal Health in 2009 and later worked as a Clinical Nurse at Barwon Health and Melbourne Health. In 2013, Neil took on contracted positions as a Systems Improvement Project Officer and Barwon South West Enhancing Care Coordination Project Manager at the Southern Grampians & Glenelg Primary Care Partnership. Neil then joined Healthscope as a Project Manager/Rehabilitation Liaison Coordinator in 2014. Neil further advanced their career at Alfred Health, where they held various roles, including Specialised Chronic Disease Stream Leader, Knowledge, Innovation & Centralised Team Lead, and Operations Lead. Currently, they are working at Monash Health as the Manager and Director of Clinical Operations since 2019.
Neil Gunn has a Bachelor of Nursing from Deakin University, which they obtained between 2004 and 2006. Neil later pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Monash University between 2010 and 2012. Finally, they completed a Master of Business Administration (Executive) (MBA) with a focus on Health at Peter Faber Business School - Australian Catholic University from 2015 to 2017.
