Carolina Lorena Zambrano Carrillo is a seasoned professional in research, innovation, and development with extensive experience in the food and beverage industry. Currently serving as Responsable Producto I+D+i at MONBAKE since September 2018, Carolina leads projects in the pastry and bakery division. Previously, Carolina held the position of Senior Specialist in Research, Innovation, and Development at the University of Szeged while finishing a PhD in Biological Sciences. Carolina's career also includes significant roles at Bimbo Ecuador and Sumesa S.A. as Chief of Research, Innovation, and Development, focusing on quality management and supplier audits. Educational qualifications encompass a PhD candidacy at the University of Szeged, an Integrated Systems Management degree from Universidad Politécnica Salesiana, an Agroindustrial Engineering degree from Universidad Agraria del Ecuador, and a Food Technologist degree from Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral.
