Jack McDowell

Jack McDowell is an experienced production manager and stage manager with a diverse background in the performing arts. Currently serving as Assistant Production Manager and Senior Scene Technician at Mondavi Center since August 2023 and as Production Manager for Opera at Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera since January 2023. Previous roles include Stage Manager at Enchant, Technical Support Advisor at Apple, and Production Manager at Sacramento Ballet, where responsibilities included staff direction, safety compliance, and adherence to Collective Bargaining Agreements. McDowell's freelance experience from 2001 to 2016 involved liaising between artistic and technical teams, and roles at Accelrys (ChemSW) and Franchise Tax Board strengthened technical skills and operational support. McDowell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Alfred University and attended Cosumnes River College.
