Girinath Deshpande

Girinath Deshpande is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supply chain management and project execution, currently serving as Director of Brownfield Expansions and Plant Lead at Mondelēz International since December 2017. In this role, Girinath leads digital transformation initiatives across the supply chain and oversees supply chain restructuring projects. Previous roles at Mondelēz include Project Commercialization Manager and PMO for Integrated Supply Chain, managing innovation projects and capacity improvements. Prior to Mondelēz, Girinath held consulting positions at Accenture and Ernst & Young, focusing on operations improvement across various sectors, and worked as a Project Engineer at Larsen & Toubro, overseeing mechanical execution in offshore projects. Girinath holds a PGDBM in Manufacturing & Operations Management from SPJIMR and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from the University of Mumbai.
