Sam Gu possesses extensive experience in quality management within the food industry, currently serving in the Corporate Quality, External Manufacturing role at Mondelēz International since October 2024. Prior to this position, Sam held the title of Sr. Quality Manager at Assemblers Inc, overseeing multi-site operations and focusing on SQF food safety, FDA and USDA regulations, and customer audits. Additional roles included Quality Supervisor positions at The Kraft Heinz Company and ARYZTA, specializing in food safety standards and customer complaint investigations. Sam's foundational experience includes a research assistant role at the Institute for Food Safety and Health, conducting food chemistry analysis. Sam holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master’s Degree in Food Safety and Technology from Illinois Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
