Christie McLeod

Christie McLeod is an associate at Miller Thomson LLP, part of the Advocacy Group where expertise includes advising Indigenous communities and companies on environmental, Indigenous, administrative, and regulatory law, along with ESG issues. McLeod is called in British Columbia and Yukon and has experience appearing before various courts, including the BC Court of Appeal. Engagements extend to serving as a board member for Lawyers for Climate Justice and the Human Rights Hub Winnipeg, where McLeod co-founded the latter. Additionally, McLeod is an ESG Advisory Committee Member for MPG - Mondetta Performance Gear and a member of the Legal Working Group for the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty Initiative. Academic qualifications include a Juris Doctor and Master's in Environmental Studies from York University and a Bachelor's in International Development/Human Rights & Global Studies from The University of Winnipeg.
