Brittany Davis

Brittany Davis has an extensive work experience in the field of communications. Brittany began their career as a Sports Information Student Assistant at The University of Kansas in 2004, where they gained valuable experience in managing sports-related communications. In 2008, they interned at USA Basketball and the Big Ten Conference, furthering their understanding of the industry.

In 2010, Davis joined the Big Ten Network as a Communications Coordinator, where they were responsible for coordinating communication efforts. Brittany then moved on to the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), starting as a Coordinator in 2012. During their time at USOPC, Davis played a crucial role in supporting strategic communications efforts, managing media relations, and overseeing the development and maintenance of the organization's profile-building sections. Brittany also took on positions as Manager and Associate Director of Communications, where they successfully managed communications campaigns and media requests to increase the visibility of USOPC programs and staff.

In their most recent role as Director of Communications at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee, Davis oversaw the creation and implementation of a purpose-driven communications strategy to enhance trust, engagement, and understanding of Team USA. Brittany demonstrated their expertise in driving thought leadership, advising on programs, and amplifying stories that showcased the passion, humanity, diversity, and resilience of the team.

Brittany Davis completed their undergraduate education from 2004 to 2007 at The University of Kansas, earning both a Bachelor of Science in Journalism (with an emphasis in Strategic Communications and Public Relations) and a Bachelor of Arts in English. In 2018, they attended the Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, where they participated in an Executive Leadership Certificate Program from 2018 to 2019. In 2023, Brittany is planning to enroll in the Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth and complete the Impact Academy program for Management Essentials.
