Tudor Iliescu has extensive work experience, starting with their role as Vice President at Pearson since April 2022. Prior to that, they were the Co-Founder of Mondly, a language learning platform, from April 2013 to the present. At Mondly, they focused on combining innovation, talent, and hard work to create the best language learning experience for users, earning recognition and awards from experts and millions of learners worldwide. Before Mondly, Tudor was employed at Romtelecom, where they held positions as a Business Processes Analyst & Designer from December 2009 to April 2013, and as a Project Specialist from November 2008 to December 2009.

Tudor Iliescu obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Transilvania University of Brașov from 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, they attended the National College of Informatics from 1999 to 2003, although no specific degree was mentioned for this period.

In addition to their formal education, Tudor Iliescu has obtained several certifications. In 2009, they received a certification in BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation) from DOC Process. In the same year, they also acquired a certification in eTOM (Enhanced Telecom Operations Map) from TMforum. In 2010, they completed certifications in Project Management from OTE Academy and Six Sigma - Process Management Green Belt (PMGB) from Deutsche Telekom.
