Joanne Briggs

Joanne Briggs has over 28 years of work experience in the travel and finance industries. Joanne began their career in 1993 as a Manager at Lunn Poly. Joanne then moved to Dawson and Sanderson Ltd in 2000, where they also worked as a Manager. In 2012, they became a Sales Manager at Travelbag, and in 2013, they were a Sales & Business Development Manager at The Global Travel Group Ltd. From 2015 to 2021, they were a Strategic Relationship Manager - Corporate & Travel Sectors and then Head Of Sales at OMNIO. In 2021, they became a Strategic Commercial Partnerships at Chetwood Financial Limited. Currently, they are a Partnership Director at Moneyhub, a data and payments company that develops ISO 27001 certified software for Open Banking, Open Finance, and Open Data applications.

Joanne Briggs began their educational journey at Southmoor Comprehensive from 1988-1993. Joanne then attended New College Durham from 1993-1995, where they earned a Travel & Tourism degree.
