Michael Hutton

Michael Hutton is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within regulated sectors. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at MoneyPlus since April 2019, Michael oversees Finance, FP&A, Financial Operations, and HR, having successfully delivered a full refinance and management buyout, securing £60 million in Private Equity funding. Prior roles include Director of Finance at MoneyPlus, where similar responsibilities were held, and Head of Finance at Croftons Solicitors LLP, focusing on financial reporting and strategic guidance for acquisitions. Michael's earlier career includes various financial positions at Calyx Managed Services and a role at Virgin Media. Academically, Michael holds a Master of Science in Computational Fluid Dynamics and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of Leeds.
