Bubblegum is a digital platform built and owned by MoneySmart Financial that provides users with general insurance education, policy management capabilities, and a fuss-free application process for insurance coverage. Bubblegum was formed as an in-house brand and is in line with MoneySmart’s vision to be everyone’s trusted personal financial coach.

We are growing and we are looking for talented people to join our team as an Insurance Specialist. 

Mission

Your mission as a Bubblegum Insurance Specialist is to provide our customers with excellent customer service and support on Bubblegum’s insurance products, with a focus on Bubblegum Car Insurance. You are expected to grow and achieve your individual sales and revenue targets. You will be helping customers with their enquiries, resolve their challenges and improve their experience with Bubblegum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to Bubblegum’s customers interested in our Car Insurance products
  • Identify and maximise cross-selling opportunities in line with Bubblegum’s strategy
  • Efficiently manage and follow up on customer inquiries via tickets and chats using Bubblegum’s internal systems
  • Take full responsibility for personal sales and conversion rates
  • Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales targets, contact turnaround time, first response and resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide timely and accurate updates to Bubblegum customers
  • Adhere to all internal processes, procedures, and external regulations

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably with insurance knowledge. Telesales or telemarketing (call center) experience is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of the car industry and car insurance market. Familiarity with general insurance products such as Travel Insurance and Personal Accident Insurance is a plus
  • Holding certifications such as Basic Insurance Concepts and Principles (BCP) and Personal General Insurance (PGI) from the Singapore College of Insurance (SCI) is highly desirable
  • Proficient in using technology and systems like Freshworks, Slack, and Google Suite
  • Strong sales and customer service orientation
  • Proactive, meticulous, and highly organized
  • Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English
  • Independent, accountable, and able to work without direct supervision
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
