Bubblegum is a new and fast-growing business within the MoneySmart Group that is building a new generation of Life and General Insurance products that are consumer and digital first across multiple APAC markets. 

Mission

In the realm of marketing, data is the cornerstone of success, driving informed decisions and targeted campaigns. As a Marketing Data Intern, you'll be at the forefront of this effort, leveraging data to optimise our marketing initiatives and enhance customer experiences. This role presents an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the intersection of data analytics and marketing within the financial services sector, collaborating closely with the most senior stakeholders in the business.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to gather and validate data essential for crafting compelling campaigns and promotions
  • Perform data entry, data cleaning, and data transformation tasks to maintain data quality and consistency
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, simplifying where possible and always focussing on delivering results for the customer
  • Analyse marketing data to uncover actionable insights and trends that inform strategic decision-making and campaign refinement
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to align marketing data initiatives with broader business objectives and marketing strategies
  • Support the team in generating reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators related to data quality and processing
  • Participate in data analysis projects to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions
  • Help in the development and maintenance of data processing workflows and documentation

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of databases and data processing concepts
  • An interest in the financial services industry and personal finance is a plus
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) is a bonus
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with large datasets
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Strong drive to learn with a strong personal pride in meeting or exceeding expectations
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
