MoneySmart Group is South East Asia's leading personal financial portal helping consumers compare loans, insurance, and credit cards. MoneySmart was founded in 2009 with the simple aim to help consumers make better financial decisions.


Mission

Your mission is to grow and oversee relationships with key insurance partners across the Hong Kong marketplace. You will directly drive MoneySmart’s insurance vertical revenue in the general insurance space by expanding our partner portfolio and enhancing their value on our platform.

In this role, you will be working cross-functionally with marketing and operations teams to launch frequent online campaigns while developing additional revenue and strategic opportunities which will contribute to the overall long term growth of our platform. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to mentor and develop the insurance team by demonstrating market-leading business development and partner relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Execute insurance vertical growth plan across the HK marketplace
  • Securing strategic insurer partnerships and serving as the key relationship manager
  • Securing favorable pricing, exclusives and campaign launches with our partners
  • Work effectively with internal stakeholders to launch profit-driving campaigns
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders 
  • Helping to define and execute annual/quarterly plans, forecasts, budgets and objectives effectively
  • Forecast and track partner, campaign and product vertical metrics to guide performance
  • Identify and quantify additional monetization strategies for the company
  • Assist in and execute the group’s strategic objectives
    (e.g. API integrations with leading partners)
  • Coach junior members of the insurance vertical’s account management team

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in exceeding targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach. 
  • 3+ years of sales or account management experience preferably in the eCommerce, online aggregators, retail technology or software industries
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects/campaigns at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listener, verbal and written communicator
  • Effective negotiation and presentation skills
