Francisco Sanchez-Apellaniz has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Francisco founded Moneytrans in 2002 and currently serves as the Founder & Chairman of the company. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director & Founder of Moneytrans since its inception in 2002. Before Moneytrans, Francisco was an Investor & Founder at iWorld from 1991 to 2001, where they developed a foreign exchange business focused on tourist destinations in Spain, Belgium, UK, Czech Republic, and Bulgaria. Francisco also worked as an Agent Commercial at Bankinter from 1990 to 1991 and as a Branch Manager at MACCORP - Exact Change from 1988 to 1990.

Francisco Sanchez-Apellaniz began their education at Saint Bede's Preparatory School in Bishton Hall, Stafford, UK, from 1982 to 1983. Francisco then attended San Estanislao de Kostka Malaga High School from 1976 to 1986. After completing high school, Francisco attended SEK-Dublín International School from 1987 to 1988, where they completed their last year of high school. Finally, from 1988 to 1989, Francisco studied Business Administration at EADE, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree.
