As a Special Projects Product Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives and supporting the leadership team in executing high-impact projects. You will work closely with the VP of Product Marketing and other senior leaders to ensure alignment across various teams, manage critical projects, and deliver results that drive the company’s strategic goals. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, project management, and marketing expertise.

What you’ll do:

  • Support Strategic Initiatives: Assist in the development and execution of strategic initiatives that drive the company’s growth and market position
  • Project Management: Lead and manage special projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure coordination and successful execution of key initiatives
  • Executive Support: Provide support to senior executives by preparing reports, presentations, and other materials for executive meetings and decision-making processes
  • Market Analysis and Insights: Conduct market research and analysis to provide insights that inform strategic decisions and marketing strategies
  • Communication: Develop and deliver clear and concise communication materials for internal and external stakeholders
  • Problem Solving: Identify and address challenges and opportunities within strategic projects, providing solutions and recommendations to drive success

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in marketing, product marketing, project management, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Experience with market research and data analysis
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:
$109,000$215,000 USD
