Regional Vice President, Sales Development - Americas at MongoDB

CJ Johns has a diverse work experience in sales and management roles spanning different companies. CJ started their career in 2003 as a Sales Supervisor at Office Max, where they worked until 2005. From 2005 to 2007, they served as a Product Solutions Manager at Office Depot, where they successfully coached and managed a technology sales team.

In 2007, they joined Inkstop as a Store Manager and managed the top-performing store in the Georgia market. CJ demonstrated the effectiveness of prospecting businesses and developing client relationships, leading to a business model change. CJ was also selected by the VP of Sales to be an acting district manager.

From 2009 to 2014, CJ worked at AT&T in various roles. CJ started as an Enterprise Account Executive in the Premier Client Group and was later promoted to Senior Enterprise Account Executive - Premier Client Group Enterprise. CJ excelled in mobile strategy consulting with named global accounts headquartered in Atlanta, GA. CJ achieved multiple recognitions and awards, including being the winner of "Sell to Excel" in 2012 and 2013 and achieving outstanding results in mobility application production and corporate gross add. CJ also closed the first Air-Watch MDM deal in the company. CJ was a member of the AT&T Leadership Development Program.

In 2014, CJ joined Box as the Director of Sales, Southeast Enterprise, and held the position until 2017. During their tenure, they successfully managed sales operations in the Southeast and contributed to the company's growth.

From 2017 to 2019, they served as the RVP, Enterprise Sales at SalesLoft, where they played a key role in driving enterprise sales.

Currently, CJ Johns is working at MongoDB since 2019. CJ started as a Strategic Account Executive and was later promoted to Regional Director of Enterprise Sales in January 2021.

CJ Johns attended Blessed Trinity Catholic High School, though the dates of attendance are unknown. After completing high school, they enrolled at Kennesaw State University, where they studied Management from 2003 to 2008. CJ obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from both Kennesaw State University and the Michael J. Coles College of Business.
