Ghadah El-Shimy

Ghadah El-Shimy has extensive work experience in marketing and communications. Ghadah currently holds the position of Senior Growth Marketing Manager at MongoDB, starting in April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at TELUS as a Senior Market Manager, GTM - Retention from January to April 2023.

From October 2021 to July 2022, Ghadah was a Growth Marketing Manager at Shopify. Before that, they held various positions at Rakuten Kobo Inc., including Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing from March to September 2021, and Marketing Manager, CRM from April 2019 to March 2021. From May 2017 to December 2018, they were a CRM Marketing Specialist, and prior to that, they worked as a Campaign Coordinator from February 2016 to May 2017.

Ghadah also has experience as a Digital Marketing Coordinator at Softchoice from October 2014 to January 2016 and as a Communications Intern at the Region of Peel from June to September 2014.

Ghadah El-Shimy obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto between the years 2009 and 2013. Following this, they pursued a Post Graduate Certificate in Corporate Communications at Seneca College from 2013 to 2014, specializing in Public Relations.
