Jeff Kang

Jeff Kang has over 10 years of experience in the legal field. Jeff currently serves as the Director of Legal at MongoDB, a position they have held since February 2021. Prior to this, they were a Senior Legal Counsel at MongoDB from February 2019 to January 2021, where they were responsible for managing commercial contracts and the legal procurement function. Before joining MongoDB, Jeff was the General Counsel at Memebox Corporation from July 2016 to September 2017.

Jeff began their legal career as an Associate at Latham & Watkins in November 2014, where they represented various clients in corporate matters and debt financings, including venture capital investors and technology companies. Prior to Latham & Watkins, they worked as an Associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP from November 2010 to March 2013.

Jeff's professional journey started in the Republic of Korea Army, where they served as an Officer from July 2003 to June 2006. Overall, Jeff Kang has a diverse range of legal experience and has held positions of increasing responsibility throughout their career.

Jeff Kang attended Georgetown University from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in International Politics. Following this, from 2007 to 2010, they attended Fordham University School of Law, earning a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
