James Kirk

James Kirk has a diverse work experience in the bioengineering and biotechnology industry. James is currently working at Monod Bio as the Senior Director of Project & Program Management. Prior to that, they held various roles at Immunexpress Inc., including Senior Director of Product & Platform Partnerships, Director of Product Development, and Product Development Scientist. Before joining Immunexpress Inc., they completed their Ph.D. in Bioengineering at the University of Washington. James also served as the Mentorship Program Coordinator at UW Science & Engineering Business Association and as an SBIR Grant Writing Intern at the Washington Biotechnology and Biomedical Association. James began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Case Western Reserve University.

James Kirk attended Franklin Regional High School for an unspecified period of time. Following high school, they enrolled at Case Western Reserve University from 2005 to 2009 and completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical Engineering. James then pursued further education at the University of Washington, where they attended from 2009 to 2014 and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Bioengineering.
