Additionally, they obtained a DTCD degree in Pulmonary Medicine and Tuberculosis from Calicut University, Thenhipalem, Malapuram, from 1991 to 1994. Venkat completed their secondary education at Madras Christian College Higher Secondary School from 1978 to 1985. Besides their formal education, they also have obtained certifications, including board certifications from the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine, both in 1997. Venkat also has a certification in Stress Management and Resilience Training (SMART) from the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind-Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2018.
