Joe Bernardi has a diverse and extensive work experience. Joe is currently working as a Staff Engineer at Monograph since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Lowkey.gg from May 2020 to September 2021. Before that, they were self-employed as a Fullstack Web Developer from August 2019 to May 2020, where they created full-stack apps using various technologies.

From May 2017 to August 2019, Joe worked at OkCupid as a Senior Developer, where they maintained and augmented a dating app platform, and worked on migrating systems to React, Redux, and ES6. Joe also played a role in architecting an API for frontend platforms.

Before OkCupid, Joe worked at Paddle8 as a Developer from August 2013 to February 2017, where they developed technical aspects of an art auction site and participated in backend replatforming. Joe also worked on mobile bidding experiences and web-based projection systems.

From March 2012 to December 2012, Joe worked as a Front End Developer at Canvas New York, developing mobile and desktop websites for various clients. Prior to that, they were a Content Director at Measy from January 2009 to March 2010, where they assisted in building a consumer electronics shop comparison website.

Joe's earlier experience includes working as a Research Assistant at the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University from October 2008 to May 2009, where they supported the development of a copyright distance-learning course for librarians.

Joe Bernardi attended Emerson College from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree. Joe'sfield of study focused on Communication and Media Studies, as well as Writing/Literature/Publishing.
