Layla Qaabidh serves as the Dean of the School of Nursing at Monroe University since April 2021. Prior to this role, Layla was the Associate Dean at Helene Fuld College of Nursing and also held positions as Associate Professor and Director of the RN to BS Program there. With experience as Clinical Nurse Manager and Clinical Nurse Leader at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Layla has also worked as an Assistant Professor of Nursing at The College of New Rochelle and as Assistant Administrative Nurse Manager at Montefiore Health System. Educationally, Layla holds a Postgraduate Degree in Family Practice Nursing from Drexel University's College of Nursing and Health Professions and a PhD in Nursing from CUNY Graduate Center.
