Denise Teague has a strong background in education and career development. Denise began their career as a High School Instructor for Public Education-Secondary in 2005, where they taught until 2011. In 2011, they joined the Michigan Department of Education as a Career and Technical Education Program Consultant, where they worked until 2018. Most recently, Denise has been serving as the Director of Career and Technical Education for the Monroe County Intermediate School District since December 2018.
Denise Teague pursued their education starting in 2002 when they attended Eastern Michigan University. Denise completed their studies in 2005 and obtained a Bachelor of Business Education (BBE) degree, focusing on Business Education.
Denise furthered their educational journey by attending Concordia University Ann Arbor from 2007 to 2009. During this time, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Education, specifically specializing in Curriculum & Instruction.
