Emily Young

Emily Young is a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist with extensive experience in evaluating and treating children and adolescents, specializing in disorders such as expressive and receptive language, pragmatics, articulation, fluency, and voice. Currently serving at Monroe County Intermediate School District and Dundee Community Schools since August 2019, Emily has previously worked at Lifting Spirits Therapy Pediatric Rehabilitation and Advanced Travel Therapy, where treatments included a wide range of communication challenges, including autism spectrum disorders. Emily's clinical foundation was built through various graduate clinical placements, including assessment and intervention with both children and adults in diverse settings. Emily holds a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Sciences from Grand Valley State University.
